Author Guidelines

Submission Preparation Checklist: Before submitting your manuscript to Healtalk – A Journal of Clinical Dentistry, authors are requested to ensure that all of the following requirements have been met. Manuscripts that do not comply with these requirements may be returned to the authors for correction before editorial assessment.

Before You Submit
☐ Article Type: The manuscript has been prepared according to the requirements of the selected article type.
☐ Originality of the Manuscript: The manuscript has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration by another journal. If any part of the work has been presented or published previously, this must be clearly disclosed to the Editor.
☐ Manuscript File: The manuscript is prepared in an editable format such as Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), OpenDocument Text (.odt), or RTF.
☐ References: References have been checked for accuracy and completeness. Where applicable, DOIs and/or URLs have been included.
☐ Manuscript Formatting: The manuscript follows the formatting requirements specified in these Author Guidelines, including appropriate font size, spacing, headings, tables, figures, and references.
☐ Tables and Figures: All tables, figures, illustrations, and other supporting materials are clearly labelled and appropriately placed within the manuscript or uploaded according to the journal's submission requirements.
☐ Ethical Approval: Where applicable, the study has received approval from the appropriate Institutional Ethics Committee/Institutional Review Board (IEC/IRB) before the research was conducted. The approval details are stated in the manuscript.
☐ Patient Consent: Written informed consent for publication has been obtained from the patient or their legally authorized representative/parent or guardian when identifiable patient information, photographs, videos, or clinical images are included.
☐ Cover Letter: A completed Cover Letter is included with the submission, providing essential information about the manuscript and confirming its originality.
☐ Copyright & Publication Agreement: The required Copyright/Publication Agreement has been completed and submitted along with the manuscript.
☐ Author Information: All authors have made meaningful contributions to the work, approved the submitted version, and agreed to its submission to Healtalk – The Journal of Clinical Dentistry.
☐ Conflict of Interest: All authors have disclosed any potential conflicts of interest related to the submitted work.
☐ Funding Disclosure: All sources of financial support or funding for the research have been clearly disclosed.
